Our Story

Deejay’s Auto was founded in 2005 by Vijay Arora, but the work ethic behind it started long before that.

Growing up in Haryana, India, Vijay began working at a young age—riding his bike to sell metal cups to local shops while helping support his family and keeping up with school. Those early years shaped how he approaches business today: work hard, stay honest, and treat people right.

When Deejay’s Auto first opened in Brantford, it was focused on scooters and motorcycles. Not long after, the business began shifting toward used vehicles. In the early days, there wasn’t a large inventory—just a small lot and a clear focus on doing things properly.

In 2007, Dave joined the team and took over the service side of the business. That became a key part of what Deejay’s is today. Every vehicle was properly inspected, and customers could rely on the shop not just for purchases, but for ongoing maintenance and repairs as well.

As the business grew, so did the need for space. In 2015, Deejay’s Auto moved into its current location, allowing for a larger inventory and a full-service garage all in one place.

Today, Deejay’s Auto has grown into a full dealership and service center, but the approach has stayed the same. We focus on straightforward pricing, properly prepared vehicles, and taking care of customers long after the sale.

Many of our team members have been here for over a decade, and a large part of our business continues to come from repeat customers and referrals. That’s something we don’t take lightly.

After nearly 20 years, we’re proud of what Deejay’s Auto has become—but more importantly, we’re proud of how we’ve built it.
